I've just got back from a long break so I've just seen the photos , thank you so much for sending me them.
I'll make sure the members get copies. From what I hear they all loved it and were really pleased with the gifts so thank you very much for thinking of us and giving them such a good night.

Emma, I really enjoyed Friday evening….thanks for encouraging me to go! I thought Craig did well and his comments were really interesting. For what its worth given that I’m only a new boy and that it was my first time, the best aspect for me and the thing that sticks in my mind most of all wasn’t so much Craig (though he was good) but the atmosphere. I just thought it seemed really warm and friendly and it seemed like everyone was there to enjoy themselves and have a good time.

Just a thought to encourage inclusiveness - Has the committee considered free membership or perhaps a "one off " payment? The wider membership base would then be more representative of the fan base and could perhaps be encouraged to participate in some form of weekly or monthly lottery. This might appeal more to fans outside Norwich and could even spawn sub groups.

David,
Thanks for the email. This is an issue that the committee have talked about previously, but the problem is one of cash flow. The Association doesn't hold much in the way of cash reserves, so the membership fees and any profit on competitions are effectively our working capital from which we have to meet postage and printing costs, as well as the purchase of prizes for the regular draw (the old days of the club donating bits and pieces are long gone!)
We have already agreed that the next forum with Craig Fleming will be free to all, rather than charging non members as we usually do, but that, of course, means we have to meet the full venue costs from our funds. I'm certainly not dismissing the idea but maybe it's something that we can reconsider at a later stage.
The subject of sub groups is very relevant. We are keen to encourage the smaller supporters groups in the regions and abroad to get their members to also join the Independent Norwich City Supporters Club so that they have their own identity but can also enjoy the benefits of our membership and be part of a bigger voice. I'm also keen to add an additional category of associate committee members who wouldn't have to meet the stringent attendance requirements of the main committee, but would have input to decisions. This would allow us to perhaps have a representative of other groups having a say in our decisions.
Apologies if that's a bit of a ramble, but I hope it makes sense!
Regards
Robin
